My name is Jake Krumwiede. I’ve never really considered myself and artist before. And, maybe I’m not. I’m not really sure what is required for someone to cross over and earn that title. Whatever that might be, I don’t feel like I’ve made it. And, I probably never will. But, I do love to create. Often, I feel like I’m really bad at it. And more often than not, when I do, I get so incredibly frustrated with myself and everything else, that I don’t think I’ll ever make anything ever again.

But, then again, it makes me feel good. It soothes a weary soul. And, I know if I didn’t find the time to make things, I’d be incredibly frustrated with myself and everything else all the time. THAT would be me. So, I choose not to be. 

I work in museums in the real world. And I teach history, too.
